TGIF!!

Fuck that. I mean, come on people. Friday can be wonderful and all, but so can Thursday, and so can Saturday.

It really annoys me when people measure their week by how far away Friday is. Jah, it's all well and good that it's the last day of the school/work week, and then after that you get two days to yourself and all that, but it's not as if life happens in increments of one week. I love Friday as much as the next person. I know, you're all excited to, you know, DO something, right? Like, hang out, with friends n' shit, you know?

Well, news flash, you can DO something any time you please. There might not be as much time during the week, but that's not stopping you. And the weekend is often filled with its own special obligations anyway.

So by all means, be happy about Friday. Wait for it, hope for it, live for it, whatever. Just don't tell ME that you're doing so. Come on, I KNOW what day of the week it is, I KNOW when Friday is, i KNOW what that entails.

It gets old.
